Meet Rosalie Marchitello-Clauss, LMSW, RYT200

Welcome! Reaching out for support is an important and necessary first step toward greater wellness and overall happiness. As a trauma-informed therapist, I understand the importance of approaching each client with openness and empathy. Because each client is unique, I approach therapy holistically, addressing the whole person rather than focusing solely on isolated challenges. As a Registered Yoga Teacher (200 hour), I incorporate breathwork, mindfulness, grounding techniques, and movement into my work with clients.

Through my work with families, within both the child welfare and the criminal justice systems, I found my passion for working with mothers, birthing persons, parents, and those who wish to become parents. The journey to parenthood can look different for everyone and is fraught with emotions, both good and bad. I am here to help you navigate all of the joys, sorrows, and challenges associated with the path to parenthood. I am trained in Perinatal/Postpartum Mental Health by PSI and am pursuing PMH-C certification. In addition, I am in the process of working toward certification in pre- and post-natal yoga in order to enhance my work with clients on their pregnancy journeys.

My Approach to Therapy

I strive to foster a positive relationship with clients by creating a safe space in which clients can feel comfortable sharing their needs and challenges, and where exploring emotions is encouraged and protected. I take a strengths-based approach to therapy, supporting and celebrating clients while also promoting empowerment and resilience.

Am I the right therapist for you?

  • Clients who will be a good fit for me are individuals who understand that therapy is a process and are willing to engage. I work well with pregnant, post-partum individuals, and their families. As someone who manages a chronic illness myself, I am a good fit for individuals who are negotiating long-term health challenges or who are caring for others with chronic health conditions.

  • You may not enjoying working with me if you don’t believe that the restorative power of therapy can be enhanced by laughter.

  • When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our five-year-old. I love to spend time outdoors and connecting with nature. I am an animal lover and avid reader.
