Are you looking for an open, affirming, and inclusive group that validates all identities and experiences?

Join us for a 10 week virtual support group to process your experiences and learn skills to manage symptoms of religious trauma.

Support Group Information

Mondays from 7:00pm-8:00pm EST online

Beginning Monday 10/6/25 and ending Monday 12/8/25

Groups are limited to 8 people per group to maximize support for each person.

Group Facilitator

Katie Maroney, MHC intern (she/her)

College of William and Mary

Katie is a graduate intern in mental health counseling at the College of William & Mary. She takes a client-centered, trauma-informed approach and has experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and addiction. Her work often incorporates mindfulness and grounding techniques to support nervous system regulation and emotional resilience.

Katie meets each client with empathy and respect, honoring their unique story, pace, and needs. She’s passionate about helping others build coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Katie is supervised by Danielle Stoner Sampson, LCSW, PMH-C.
